Abstract: This paper introduces the basic theoretical knowledge of modern logistics and transportation packaging and the requirements of modern logistics for packaging, establishes the packaging design process under the new modern logistics system, uses VB to develop the modern logistics transportation packaging CAD system software, and establishes the modern logistics packaging information platform. The software is easy to use, and can be used to integrate packaging design under modern logistics for professionals and non professionals. It provides effective tools and has certain theoretical and practical value

as logistics plays an increasingly important role in the national economy, its position in the production economy is expanding and the space is greatly improved. Modern logistics includes many links, such as packaging, loading and unloading, transportation, warehousing, sub packaging and so on. Packaging and transportation are the two most important links that affect the quality of logistics. Packaging has a special position in the whole logistics activities. The materials, forms, methods and shape design of packaging have an important impact on other logistics links. In the process of social reproduction, packaging is at the end of the production process and the beginning of the logistics process, which is both the end of production and the starting point of logistics. In packaging design, we should not only consider the packaging problem in the sense of "the end point of production", but also consider the requirements of logistics for packaging. Therefore, combining modern logistics and transportation packaging will develop a new cross research field - modern logistics transportation packaging. In addition, in addition to its application in the field of logistics, some recent practical situations show that the research and practice of logistics transportation packaging can also provide many new ideas and methods on issues such as packaging costs and improving environmental protection
at present, the CAD system for transportation packaging is mainly used for buffer design, verification and optimization of carton structure. For example, Wang Baosheng put forward the problems that should be paid attention to in the development of buffer packaging CAD software, which provides a feasible idea for the development of buffer packaging CAD software. Lu Lixin and others introduced the overall structure, functional modules and key technologies of buffer packaging CAD system based on graphics library and database. Zhang Xiaojian et al. 1 modern logistics requirements for packaging

Generally speaking, the requirements of modern logistics for packaging mainly include the following three points:
first, we should realize the standardization of the specifications of transportation packages. The standardization of transportation package specification is to improve the logistics efficiency through the standardization of package size and all space dimensions related to the circulation of goods. The space dimensions referred to here include railway freight cars, trucks, etc. The standardization of transportation packaging specifications can guide and improve the production of packaging containers and improve transportation efficiency. Therefore, it is of great significance to the development of national economy, especially international trade exchanges
secondly, with the increase of commodity trading volume and the frequency of transactions, in order to reduce costs and maximize space utilization, integrated packaging, such as containers, container bags, pallets, etc., are also widely used. Collective packaging has the advantages of convenient loading and unloading, improving transportation efficiency, reducing transportation costs, facilitating management, reducing accidents and so on
thirdly, on the premise of ensuring the quality of circulating goods, transportation packaging should be advocated. Simplify packaging or no packaging. We should try to reduce the use of packaging materials, use less materials to meet the most basic requirements, focus on how to choose a better and more economical initial packaging, and try to minimize the amount of materials that need to be repackaged. Finally, transportation packaging should be conducive to optimizing the location of pallets in transportation components and improving the space utilization of containers. Reasonable transportation packaging design can completely occupy less container space, and pallet transportation packaging can also make the movement of goods more convenient, but its disadvantage is that it greatly reduces the efficiency of transportation packaging. 2 modern logistics packaging computer aided design system
the design idea of modern logistics packaging computer aided design platform starts from two aspects. On the one hand, it provides a logistics packaging information query platform based on text introduction. The platform starts from the two independent concepts of modern logistics and packaging, and then introduces the relationship and function between them in detail. It mainly expounds the requirements of reasonable logistics on packaging design in all links, and puts forward the concept of modern logistics transportation packaging design. The last part introduces the development trend of logistics transportation packaging in detail; On the other hand, it provides users with a design and operation platform for logistics transportation packaging. The operation platform takes the production of products as the starting point and the delivery of goods as the end point, showing a comprehensive and complete logistics packaging design process, and providing users with some ideas and references for logistics transportation packaging design
2.1 logistics transportation packaging CAD design method
logistics transportation packaging CAD system, according to the actual design process of product packaging in the modern logistics environment and the requirements of logistics for packaging, is composed of four modules: single product packaging design module, transportation packaging design and calibration module, cycle counting module for materials to withstand changing stress and strain, pallet selection and verification module, and transportation mode selection and verification module. 2.1.1 single product packaging design module
considering that the shape and nature of the internal items may be granular, powder, liquid and other types, single product packaging is divided into six categories: cubic cartons, cylindrical cans, bowl cartons, fat liquids, dairy products, granular packaging. The packaging materials can be aluminum or tinplate. Users only need to enter the dimensional parameters of the single product and the weight of the internal contents, The system will automatically generate the total weight of a single product according to the preset formula: total weight = single product weight +15g (under the condition of selecting aluminum), and display it in the operation interface. The data values of total weight and size will be recorded by the system and used by subsequent steps, and finally fed back and output on the output drawing
2.1.2 transportation packaging design and verification module
good transportation contact packaging has been running through the whole process of logistics since the end of product production. Its main role is to ensure the safety of contents, facilitate storage, transportation, loading and unloading, accelerate handover and point inspection, and ensure that qualified products off the production line are free from the adverse effects of natural and human factors before being consumed, It is a very important intermediate link in commodity activities. In the transportation packaging design and verification module, the transportation packaging is divided into the following six categories according to the nature of the contents of the packaging and the requirements of cushioning: corrugated boxes, metal plates, metal oil barrels, plastic liquid barrels, Oils and fats, and gunny bags. In terms of corrugated boxes, the system provides the most commonly used 0201 corrugated boxes, and stores the calculation formula of carton size in the database. Users only need to select the shape, type and number of layers of corrugated paper, and then type the number of goods placed in three directions of length, width and height according to the actual needs. The software will automatically calculate the formula of corrugated box size and the data value generated in the single product packaging design according to the set formula, Calculate the internal dimension, manufacturing dimension and external dimension of the corrugated box, and check the strength of the corrugated box packaging according to kellieut formula. In addition, users can add corrugated cardboard liner according to actual needs. Finally, if the carton strength check fails, the system will prompt the user to redesign until the check passes. All dimension data of cartons will be recorded by the system and continue to be used in the next design, and finally output as drawings
2.1.3 tray selection and verification module
generally speaking, selecting the tray with the highest utilization rate can maximize the transportation efficiency, avoid space waste, and reduce the unit transportation cost. Therefore, the system takes the area utilization rate as the basis for tray selection. Commonly used pallets generally have three specifications: 1200ram × 1000ram,1200ram × 800ram,1000ram × 800ram, which can be divided into wooden pallet, metal pallet and plastic pallet according to the material, and the bearing capacity of different pallets is also different. In practice, although the staggered cargo stacking method can increase the efficiency of pallets to a certain extent, considering the design difficulties, the software only uses a unified non staggered stacking method
the system automatically calculates the utilization rate of the pallet area and selects the pallet size with the highest utilization rate of the pallet area according to the calculation formula of the pallet area utilization rate preset in the program and the data in the single product design module and the transportation packaging design and verification module, and finally displays the layout mode and positioning of the transportation packaging on the pallet. Once the area utilization rate of the three pallets is less than 0.6, which leads to low utilization rate and waste of space. In order to avoid this reduction in transportation efficiency, the system will recommend the user to return to the original single product packaging design module for redesign
